Quartzite Stone Paving

Interlocking System Mat Paving

Interlocking system quartzite stone paving can be mounted on mesh back. We produced them into 2 main categories: "cobble mat" and "crazy mat". The quartzite stone is calibrated and cut (sawn or hand chiseled) and then placed and glued in an order or randomly onto a plastic or fiberglass mesh back sheet. The unique feature is that sheets are matching and interlocking with each other, giving a unique pattern look. It also makes the installation job easier at site.

Flagstone loose tiles / Crazy Paving

Flagstone (natural look crazy paving) are paving stones of irregular size and shape and are laid in a haphazard manner sometimes with mortar filling the gaps between.

Flag Stone Production & Packing

Among all colors of the above mentioned quartzite flagstones, Desert Gold is no doubt the most popular one in our sales.

Tips for building flagstone

When installing flagstone, you will need to put a solid base (a concrete base is recommended). After that you will need to put another layer of sand or stone screenings on the top and leave it un tamped. Because flagstone is natural and is of varying thickness, the top layer will allow you to shift each piece into place and even it up with the next one.

When cutting flagstone use a brick saw or grinder if you want a more formal look; use a chisel if you want a more natural look, finally you can mortar the joints.
